Baggage Allowance at Blue Air
All passengers are allowed to bring one piece of carry-on luggage free of charge. This luggage must weigh less than 10kg and measure no more than 55cm x 40cm x 20cm. Passengers can also carry duty free products which have been bought at the airport onto the plane – this will not count towards your carry-on allowance.
Checked baggage is not included in the ticket price. If you would like to bring checked baggage, this will need to be added to your booking for an additional fee. Each passenger is able to add a maximum of four pieces of luggage to their booking.
Checked baggage must weigh no more than 23 or 32kg a piece, depending on what you have booked.
Also, checked baggage must not exceed the following measurements: 100cm x 80cm x 30cm.
Baggage fees vary depending on route. The best way to check is at the time of booking, when it will be possible to add checked baggage to your booking. Please note that the airline recommends booking your required bags when you book your flights online, as the fee at the airport will be higher.
Blue Air Web Check-in
Passengers can check in online at Blue Air. Excluded from this service are only a few destinations. To check in online, travelers need their booking ID and email address, or their booking ID and last name. After checking in, the boarding pass will be printed out to be presented to the airport staff. This free online service is available for a period of 30 days prior to departure and up to 12 hours prior to departure.
Of course it is also possible to check in directly at the airport at Blue Air. It is recommended that you arrive at the counter at least two hours before your departure time. If you already have the online ticket and want to give up your luggage, you should also schedule this time buffer. If no baggage is left at the baggage counter, an arrival at the airport is approximately 90 minutes before departure. With the online ticket you can go immediately to the security checks. However, persons with disabilities should contact the counter so that the airport staff can organize the necessary assistance.
