About Windrose Airlines

Windrose Airlines is a Ukrainian airline that was founded in 2003. The airline is based in Kiev and operates scheduled and charter flights to destinations in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Windrose Airlines’ fleet consists of Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 family aircraft, which are used for both passenger and cargo transportation. The airline offers several classes of service, including Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class, depending on the route and aircraft.

In addition to its passenger services, Windrose Airlines also provides aircraft leasing and charter services for corporate clients, tour operators, and other organizations. The airline has received several awards for its services, including the “Best Domestic Airline” award from the Ukrainian National Tourism Awards in 2019.

Windrose flies to destinations in Western Europe, Middle East and Asia. These include Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, Punta Cana, Hong Kong, Tel Aviv, Antalya, Dubai, Salzburg, Pula, Split, Poprad and many others. Windrose Airlines Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

The carry-on baggage allowance for Windrose flights is one piece of carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 5kg, with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 35cm x 15cm.

Checked Baggage

Economy Class passengers are permitted a baggage allowance of 23kg. Premium Economy Class passengers are permitted a maximum baggage allowance of 30kg. Infants and newborns are permitted a checked baggage allowance of 10kg.

Windrose Airlines is based at Boryspil International Airport in Kiev, Ukraine. It is the country’s largest airport and is also the hub airport for Ukraine International Airlines. The airport has two runaways and can handle 8 million passengers every year. Other airlines which fly to and from Boryspil International Airport include Aeroflot, airBaltic, British Airways, Belavia, Estonian Air, KLM, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and Royal Jordanian.
