Carry-on Baggage

SCAT Airlines lets you bring a 5kg carry-on piece of baggage with you on flights to/from Baku as well as transfer connections to this destination. SCAT Airlines allows 1 carry-on item on board however, carry-on baggage must not exceed 55cm х 40cm х 20 cm (length+width+height) including handles and wheels.

Checked Baggage

SCAT Airlines has increased their baggage allowance for adults and children from 25 kg to 30kg plus 5 kg (hand baggage) for all travellers to and from Istanbul. For adults and minors with tickets, the weight of free luggage per individual is 20 kg including 5 kg of carry-on. Checked baggage can be divided into more than one bag as long as it doesn’t exceed 20 kg.

Please note that any checked baggage weighing over 32kg will not be permitted on flights due to international health and safety regulations.

Check-in

Online Check-In

Online check-in for Scat Airlines opens 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure. Please print your boarding pass and arrive at the airport at least 30 minutes before check-in.

Airport Check-In

Passengers checking luggage at the airport should arrive at least 40 minutes before their flight departure.

Shymkent International Airport (CIT) serves the region of Shymkent in Kazakhstan. This airport has one single terminal and one runway. Shymkent Airport operates around 500,000 passengers a year.

This airport is a hub for SCAT Airlines. Other airlines that fly from this airport include Air Astana, Pegasus Airlines, Qazaq Air and Sunday Airlines.

Cabin Class

Economy Class

SCAT Airlines provides a 5-star service throughout your flight journey. Economy Class is the only cabin class on SCAT Airlines flights. In Economy Class you’ll have a variety of hot meals and drinks which you can enjoy whilst browsing through the in-flight magazine. If you wish to take a nap during your flight, the cabin crew will be happy to give you a cushion.

On flights longer than 3 hours, children will receive their own magazine which involves colouring and solving puzzles.

In-Flight Entertainment

SCAT Airlines is a low-cost airline based in Kazakhstan therefore the airline doesn’t offer a range of inflight entertainment options. However, you can browse through the Aspan magazine which covers a number of articles about travel & leisure, art, history and more. Please note that the articles will be written in Kazakh or Russian. We advise that you bring your own piece of entertainment with you on board.
