Carry-on baggage is subject to a maximum outside dimension of 22″ width x 14″ height x 9″ length and a maximum weight of 15lbs.

Checked Baggage

The maximum outside dimensions for checked items is 30″ width x 15″ height x 45″ length and a maximum weight of 70kbs.

Surfboards, fishing poles. and other irregular shaped items longer than 6ft 8 inches will not be accepted.

 


Class Fares

As the airline uses small, regional planes, it only has one cabin class. This cabin offers more space compared to the standard class cabins that larger airlines offer and is more similar to the experience of a private charter flight than a typical scheduled flight from a larger airline. Although no food or in-flight entertainment is available during the flight, each flight boasts scenic views of the beautiful Hawaiian islands out of the aircraft’s large windows.

 

Facilities

Each seat comes with its own air vent and reading light. Seatback pockets offer storage for small items. Under-seat storage is extremely limited, so carry-on items will need to be gate checked.

The cabin has air-con and is climate controlled for passenger comfort, to help keep you cool during Hawaii’s hot summers.

Kona International Airport

Kona International Airport is the main airport serving Kailua-Kona, North Kona and South Kohala and is the hub airport for Mokulele Airlines. The airport is small, with just a single terminal and a single runway.

Currently, Mokulele Airlines is the only airline that is based at the airport. However, AlaskaAmerican AirlinesJapan Airlines, Makani Kai Air, WestJet Encore and others fly to the airport on a scheduled basis.
