About Germanwings
Germanwings was a German low-cost airline that was founded in 2002 and operated until 2015, when it was integrated into Eurowings. The airline was headquartered in Cologne and operated flights to various destinations throughout Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
Germanwings operated a modern fleet of aircraft, which included Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft. The airline offered passengers a choice of travel classes, including economy and a premium economy class called Best.
