Cape Air – Routes & Flight Booking
Cape Air, is an airline headquartered at Barnstable Municipal Airport in Barnstable, Massachusetts, United States. It operates scheduled passenger services in the Northeast, the Caribbean, Midwest, and Eastern Montana. The Cape Air airline began operations between Boston, Massachusetts and Provincetown in 1989 and quickly spread to Florida, the Caribbean and the Micronesia Islands. In Puerto Rico it has been operating since 1993 and uses exclusively Cessna 402 aircraft with a capacity of 12 passengers. Its base of operations is the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and from there it carries out daily flights with punctuality that depends on the weather conditions to Saint Tomas, Saint Croix, Tortola, Vieques, Mayaguez and Ponce. The planes are well maintained, the employees are mostly friendly and the pilots do a great job. With luck you can even go as a co-pilot and enjoy the adventure of flying. The luggage flies free and the cost is very reasonable.
The line has a fleet of over 92 aircraft and more than 850 daily flights in high season. With just over 650,000 passengers transported in the United States, Cape Air is the largest independent regional airline.
Its base airport in San Juan, (Puerto Rico) is one of the most important in the entire Caribbean and is the hub between freight companies worldwide, such as FedEx and DHL. The motto of Cape Air is “We are the wings of the Caribbean”
