Cancún International Airport is the primary airport serving the city of Cancún, located on the Caribbean coast of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It is one of the busiest airports in Mexico, handling millions of passengers annually.
The airport is located about 16 km (10 miles) southwest of the city center of Cancún and is the main gateway for travelers visiting the popular tourist destinations of the Riviera Maya, including Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Cozumel.
