Belo Horizonte-Confins International Airport, officially named Tancredo Neves International Airport, is the main airport serving Belo Horizonte, the capital city of the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. It is located approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of downtown Belo Horizonte.
The airport was opened in 1984 and was expanded in 2013 to increase its capacity. It now serves over 11 million passengers annually and has one runway and two passenger terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Belo Horizonte-Confins Airport offers direct flights to destinations throughout Brazil, as well as several international destinations in South America and Africa. It is a hub for several major airlines, including Azul Brazilian Airlines and LATAM Brasil.
